ST swingarm width

ok, zzr1400 swingarm is approx. 257mm wide, plus 2.5-3mm per spacer so at max it's 263mm. about 33mm narrower than the st one. what do you reckon, a worthwhile attempt at a project? I have mk2 bodywork (tank differs from ST one, would it need a lot of modification to fit the ST frame?) v&h pipe, zzr14 complete front end, wheels with discs and tyres, and swingarm so far. Would it be a massive undertaking or a worthwhile (very long term) project? It'd at least involve a shaft to chain conversion, I see a couple of you are doing the same mod. Any input welcome, ta.
