Classic Bike Japfest

#1 PostAuthor: Nick W » Mon Dec 17, 2012 5:44 pm

Hello,
I hope you will excuse this intrusion on what is an excellent and active web site and i know i will get slated for this but i used to own a Z900 and Z1000, both nice bikes and maybe one day another one will grace my garage, however on to the main point.

The Taunton and Bridgwater section of the VJMC are holding a Classic Bike Japfest at Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford, Somerset. www.japfest.net On September 15th 2013 and we would like to invite you as a club or as individuals to attend. It is a one day show but does have free camping for all exhibitors, the only criteria being is that the bikes must be of Japanese origin and at least fifteen years old.

This is a professional show and all the bikes will be housed inside the museum, and if successful in it’s first year we will be building on it to make it bigger each time.

For all exhibitors you will also have free entry to Haynes Motor Museum which houses the largest collection of classic cars in the country.

For full details and entry forms please go to www.japfest.net or contact me with any queries at nick@japfest.net

I know that there are a lot of Z owners down this part and it would be good to see a few on display here.

We hope you will attend and look forward to meeting you.

Kindest regards

Nick Watson.

Thankyou for that tlc, it always pays to be respectful when just jumping on a clubs Forum.
Always spend far too long hanging around the Z1 stand at Stafford, sure i will get arrested one day.

Be good to see some of these iconic bikes at the Japfest and meet up with some of the members.

Agree with TLC, you're welcome.
As a VJMC co-ordinator myself (South Cheshire) I know how difficult it can be sometimes to generate the interest.

All the best, Will

I should have realised that you would be on here Big Fluff, it is hard to get the interest going but the upside is that you get to meet and chat to a lot of very good people, already on this Forum i have been greeted in a very friendly manner and at next years Stafford will not hesitate to say hello to some of the members.
I know it is a long way for you to come but we would love to have the Saxon down here, i promise to personally look after it.

Thanks for that pigford, shame you are away, always good to meet someone local with the same interest, have a good holiday.

ADRIAN H it's going to be good to have you along and to meet you, if you are at the Bristol Classic bike show next year come along and say hello, we are in the main hall under the balcony, could even be a cuppa in it for you.

If any of you are going to the Bristol Classic bike show, drop in and say hello, we are in the Sedgemoor Hall under the VJMC banner.

There will be flyers and entry forms for the Japfest if you want to show your bike.

It would be good to meet some of you and have a chat.
