steering lock

hi,did the a4 come with a steering lock as can not find it,a pic would be nice to see where it should be. newbie to z900's.

The lock should be up underneath the front of the bottom yoke (items 42, 43, 44)

On the american version starting in 79 anyway the lock should be up on the steering head itself behind the headlight bucket,not sure if yours is same.

Or it can be located on underside of the bottom yoke - on the '76 KZ variant.

Here is a pic - taken from my resto of a KZ900A4 last year.
