Going to fit an oil cooler, what is the better size, 10 or 13 row?

Depends on engine spec - but a 10 row (how wide?) should be more than enuff :|
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Total stock motor.
I keep looking at the Jap bling bikes and most have thirteen row, but would I need an uprated pump with one?

Oil pump will be OK - they chuck out big volumes, rather than pressure

The GPz11 only has a couple of rows... and that crates a fair bit more BHP (heat) :!:

Ive fit a few coolers over the years, take into mind how much room you have including the mountings and what type and dimensions of fittings. Also check how much stearing lock you have, this may determine how wide the cooler can be

Used to ride my Z1 through London regularly and on really hot days and slow traffic it used to overheat enough to notice the loss of power even @ 30 mph.

If you are using the cable drive for the tacho this limits the room you have. If you are using electronic tacho and the head has had the cable drive blanked off more room. I used cable drive on mine ( see photo in last post) This limited me a lot on size of cooler. Hope this helps you.

Depends i have bought a ten row, which is 68mm high a 13 row would have been 90mm (not counting the input/output ports) you would need to measure up to see how much space you have available

All good stuff thanks guys, my first intention was a ten row, but I liked the look of the bigger cooler.
I am going to use the cable drive so ten row is the way to go I think.
