Brake hoses / AP calipers

#1 PostAuthor: martinz1000r » Tue Jan 15, 2013 11:57 am

I need to source brake lines for the Lawson which is now sporting AP calipers. Looking at others that have these the lines seem to have a straight connection in to the calipers and no obvious banjo fitting yet reviewing both Earls and Venhill sites I cant see this type of what I assume to be male connector.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I went straight to Goodrich direct, they made mine up on the Saxon.

that's exactly what I'm after but the Goodridge site is amazingly complex. Might try ringing them.

Goodridge are VERY helpful - they sorted out all my fittings when I did the plumbing on my MKII Sprinter that was "dry-blocked"
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

I got mine from B&C in Potterhanworth Lincs.

I made pattern lengths from Co-ax Cable as its about the same Dia and flexibility then took them over to them with the callipers and Master cylinders to ensure the correct threads - as I wasn't sure about the standardisation of threads !!

I got a full set and Hydraulic clutch lines made "while you wait" there HEL hoses.

Pics are on my thread - Page 2 - if thats any help to you.
regards
Howie

I spoke to a lovely lady at Goodridge who knew the adapter measurements from memory.i have just checked my notebook and the thread is 3/8 x 24 unf and the banjo adapter is 305-03-31.
Check before you buy though.
