What's the disance from the centre of the eft hand downtube to the centre of the hole on the fixed bracket?

Excellent point Chris and one that will solve this problem. The distance is 55mm and on the frame the engine came out of, it is 50 mm.
Therefore, what Gus said is correct, not that I disbelieved him, I just thought the worst and the frame was bent.
Thanks for that pointer Chris it came up trumps.

Thanks to all for their input on this, it has been very welcome.

Cheers
Nigel

No, didn't line up but the plate needed wiil be the same dimensions as the fixed bracket on the left down tube.
Z1par has a bracket that from the dimensions, could well be off a shaft frame.

Cheers

I believe its from a Z1100.
Looking for one to suite a 650 CSR 82. or the measurements to make one.
Cheers.

I'll check the measurement from the bottom down tube fixing hole to the engine to see if yours would be suitable although I've not heard back from Z1par as yet.
