What fork tops are these please??????

#1 PostAuthor: Gus » Thu Jan 03, 2013 1:24 pm

Hi Guys.

Picked up some forks and I haven't seen these balance valves before.

Are they standard or not?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The casting numbers on the fork legs are K207L and K207R and I don't know what that means either

Ta muchly in advance.

Gus

36mm tops and Z650/1000 bottoms by the look of them.

I was hoping someone could tell me if the K207 number relates to 650 or 1000 fork bottoms.

Both z650 and z1r disc brake fork lowers have K207 cast on them.
Don't know about other models.
650 legs have circlip above fork bush, Z1R doesn't.
Your lowers have a slightly different shaped mudguard lug on them though.

Thanks for the reply.

I've seen that shape mudguard mount on MKII forks.

Also they bear a very uncanny resemblance to these!!!!!
