Ian, part No. is 25008-1034 & according to Kawasaki.com is common to these other models;

Model (5):
KZ1000-J1 (1981)
KZ1000-J2 (1982)
KZ1000-R1 (Eddie Lawson Replica) (1982)
KZ1100-A1 (Shaft) (1981)
KZ1100-A2 (Shaft) (1982)

I do have a set of 'J' clocks, but from memory they are fractured around the mounts. I will go & check once I can get away from all the family festivities... :roll:

This one is broken, the mounts to the top yoke have snapped off. Pity the seller didn't care to mention it in his description. There are pictures, but if you didn't know what you were looking for........ :evil:

J brackets

#12 PostAuthor: elr-21 » Sun Dec 30, 2012 3:03 pm

These are hard to find meanwhile.
Most they are broken!

I found one some years ago made of stainless steel - little bit to thick but unbreakable. So far I know a small series was made.

If this is not for a showroom-condition-bike with only genuine parts I think stainless stell is the very best solution.

Cheers

PS: I gave mine to a friend who use it until today
