what rear sprocket ?

hi chaps, and all the best for christmas, a z900 of mine has a sprocket set up of 16t front and 45t rear, great for a standing quarter

but then feels like top gear is missing

don't want to touch the eng one as its offset, so any idea's on the rear please while its on the bench with the wheels off....cheers

Final drive is 2.2 : 1 standard (or is it 2.3 : 1?)- so just multiply (thats "times" :roll:

) 16 by 2.2 (or 2.3, or whatever) to get # teeth for rear :wink:

You'd have to drop the rear to 35 or 36T to get it anywhere near standard (15/33)

A 45 on the front and a 16 on the rear will sort out your missing top gear problem.
