tank fitment

guys
i am fitting a 1000td tank round type to my gpz750 r1 the original frame lugs are too wide for this tank
could i just shorten them to fit the tank or modify the tank
the first option is easiest
any ideas

I'd use the frame for the 1000LTD, and modify EVERYTHING else from the GPz750 to suit the frame.

that will help no end

I would modify the tank
dont think of modifying the frame unless You are sure You know what You are doing
way too many Zeds

Ricky if its the lugs that are too wide then just shorten them. Modifying the tank would be too much work
