Let me tell you a (short) story... :!:

It's about my bikes engine...

I started with only an engine.... :)

which was sold to me by an older young man

who used to be in side car moto cross

he build a special 25 years ago :P

with a heavily tuned Kawasaki Z1 engine :!:

but it apeard to be to powerfull :?:

and the engine went out after just 2 races :|

as it seems, in the fist race a piston was that heavily damaged

that they had to rebuild the whole engine....

so after the other (2nd) race the engine landed in a (heated) shed :o

and was left there for more than 25 years

and today I found a picture of that engine still fitted in the sidecar cross machine thing :D :D :D

pictures overhere...

There are some serious mad guys who ride those shitflickers

Quite a few years back i sold a tuned EXUP 1000 engine that i took out of my YZF750 to a guy who raced Grasstrack Autograss spaceframe cars .
He looked quite normal when he knocked on my door , but over a brew it turned out that he runs two tuned motors in the same car and just wanted a spare engine

That old moriwaki z1r has been stuck in my mind for years also!
Does anybody have a closeup shot of the round tube swingarm on the origional bike with a better view of the shallow under bracing?
Ive got plans to build some stock looking 4130 swingarms using stock axle flanges and brake mounting hardware with 4130 pivot and tubes, but I want to use the same bracing as that arm
