Last but not least is the front mudguard...which i thought was i pretty good shape, but not according to Simon as you can see buy the amount of filler he's had to use...
That's it for now...i'll post more pics of the paint job process when Si e-mails them to me.

Must be a tiny helicoil Guy to accept the badge screws!
I can see he is doing a great job so far, I will be contacting Simon when I need my project doing.
Next installment of how my new paint job is coming along.
Simon has finished sanding the front mudguard and coated it with a layer of primer...and is ready for the base coat
Simon also sent me a pic of the tail piece which as had a coat of House of Kolor Orion silver applied and then laid down the stripes to make sure i'm happy with it...which i am buy the way

Your not wrong Jim...just had another e-mail from Simon...bloody hell he doesn't hang about
First pic is of the tail piece now with a coat or two of metallic black...
Then the stripes unmasked and then 5 coats of Kosmic Kandy apple red over the top.
There is no clear coat yet...so the next stage is to flat it back and lacquer.
Had another e-mail from Simon yesterday, saying "The panels and mudguard have now been wet sanded by hand after they were lacquered, and ready for finish coat of lacquer".
"The tank has now been sealed and began the filler work"
