Z1A "old school" rebuild

#1 PostAuthor: andy c » Mon Oct 29, 2012 9:33 am

After a bad year with all sorts of problems now back on top of things so last week started my new build. Decided to do the bike with all the modifications we all did back in the late 1970`s.
Going to use CMA 3 spoke wheels,Dresda swing arm,2:4 seat (thanks Piggy) oil cooler and still thinks about some other bits.
Still got my original Z1b so wanted the Z1a to be non-standard.
So far the bottom half of engine built and frame then slotted over it and bolt in place .I find this way a of fitting so simple
Then its get your mates round and lift it up onto centre stand
More to follow !!

I must say that is one of the most organized workshops I have seen in ages.

Keep up the good work.
