Lots of nice Kawas (and others ) yesterday at Sinsheim

Pictures if you've gone for a nice run out and Zed spotting.

Lots of nice Kawas (and others ) yesterday at Sinsheim

#1 PostAuthor: Richard L » Sun Oct 07, 2012 9:26 am

Lovely day yesterday ( sorry but there are some advantages in moving abroad ) at Sinsheim Transport Museum between Frankfurt and Stuttgart
where they held their annual classic motorcycle display and meet .

There was a wild mix of old and recent but mine was the only J/R/Gpz

Image

A bike with a bit of patina ! I don't think I could have resisted cleaning it !

A few were confused by my 1100R tribute sidepanels ( the 1100R never
made it here ) but I don't think many have done a Gpz replica out of an R
yet !

i like the unmolested + uncleaned z1b. probably still has the yellow paint markings on the variouse fasteners under all that muck + the gpz 1000 is not bad either . love the classics on the roof

Love the dirty Z1b! A big old 'up-middle-finger' to the restoration queens  Couldn't do it myself though.

By pure coincidence I was passing and called in the day after( Ad hoc bike tour of Germany). It was full of Harleys on Sunday although I did spot this.

Thats funny that you happened to be passing Sinsheim but unfortunate you happened to be on Harley day ( or good if you like that sort of thing )
The Gpz 550 pictured I spotted 1 week later at an autojumble in Mannheim in the car park.
Please tell us how much peanuts is I may have to go to the Czech republic
this weekend !!
All the best
Richard

3000 Euro was the figure briefly mentioned for the 750 as a starting price. I didnt buy it(or take the details). I'd love one but missing a leg I can't start a kicker and we where a long way from home.

The guy also showed us round his personal workshop full of all sorts of old shite!
