Ceramic Coating Headers

#1 PostAuthor: wild_zed » Tue Oct 16, 2012 9:07 am

In the past I have ceramic coated the headers on some of my 4x4's and it has worked very well, but there's no chance of stone damage or road rash on a 4x4

I was considering black Ceramic Coating for my Z1000J rebuild

Has anybody tried this on a bike, and if so was it successful

Recon they are the best and will use them if I can't find significantly cheaper and local.

Cheers

Some of the 750 turbo owners have used Camcoat for the spider pipe on the bike and have been happy with the results

here you go cerma chrome and satin black I'm well impressed............. need to bear in mind that the end result is only as good as whats underneath though hence the apparent roughness around the header bends these where feckin rough

thanks GB

That looks great

How durable has it proven to be against road rash etc

I will definitely ceramic coat the headers now.

Don't own the bike anymore Wild_Zed.

But needless to say, I'm about to use Camcoat again.
