Nice day for a 360 mile round trip :skep

So the bike is what it said on the tin - Project needs work :!:

Its a 1978 Z1000B2 (de ja vous) and is well tatty .... but runs well - if a bit noisey... CLICKY THIS ONE

Image

The wiring is bodged - lights don't work - forks are weeping - paintwork is sh*te - tyres are rather old & hard - red p/coated frame is peeling......

.... apart from that, its like new :twisted: Didn't take me long to swap the bars though;

Image

...parked the old heap in the only available space in the Pigford household and gonna wait for the next dry weekend for more messing about...

I agree with Mr Puffin, I think that's a nice little bike Mark with tons of potential. One day I'll get another LTD, or wait for you to flog this one :wink:

Sounds a bit rough in that video, make sure its got 12 volts at the coils and give it a right hand re-bore. That should sort it out. :D

Could be a bit of work needed on the engine by the sounds of it Mark but I am sure it's nothing you cannot resolve over the winter months. Look forward to the updates as you go along.

How's the W650 coming along.
