A2 to Arris

#1 PostAuthor: harrythemagnum » Sun Oct 07, 2012 6:11 pm

So the poor old A2 is going to be broken up, the motor is heading for a Mag2 frame and some of the better bits will be used on the A1 project.

Last photo till it goes into the shed for stripping. :axe

The motor in the A2 is sound but is an old smoker, so needs a top-end rebuild anyway, but the newly acquired A1 has a sweet rebuilt engine, and I like that its older.
The A2 isn't dead, its just that I need its engine for the Harris, if I find another motor before the end of the dry build then it will go back together again later.
I've been promised a good MkII bottom-end and stuff so that could be an option, but would need yet another doner!

Bit of both I think, probably ZX9RC conventionals, 6R swinger with over brace, ZZR wheels and 10R tail, because that's what I've got so far.

When I get going I'll start a photo thread.

can't believe I'm writing this but I think you should keep that as it is and get another engine to put in the Harris.
