Brake light?
Does anyone know how the front brake light circuit works? Cant get mine to work on me Z1000A1, indicator light on dash column not working either, rear brake light is working ok from pedal??

you should have a blue + a brown wire going to the front brake light switch. the brown should be live when the ignition is turned on. the blue wire goes from the switch to the brake light bulb + when the front brake is applied the the switch transfers the power from the brown to the blue to illuminate the bulb . check the brown wire you should have 12 volts when the ignition is on. if you put 12 volts to the blue the brake light should work. if not you will have a break in the blue wire which is a common thing . check the switch by connecting the brown wire to the switch with the ignition on. ( you should have 12 volts at the other terminal on the switch. if you have no power the switch is faulty
