Advice on zephyr

Hi im after sum advice ive got a 750 zephyr and hes tempermental going thro the gears its ok going down just going up selecting the gears is the problem does any one have any advice on this issue plz

have you looked at the sprocket cover? could be the gear change shaft sticking / seizing remove the cover + lubricate the shaft with some grease

Thanx for the info took cover off today all seems fine the shaft is abit wobbly and abit of oil drips when i wobble it looks like might have a selector problem and the engine will have to come out and rebiuld the selectors

I bet its the boss on the engine casing (broken off)

remove the transmission cover ( cover behind the sprocket ) + check the casting that the shaft fits into

i took the front cover off and i did notice that when i moved the shaft sum oil came out is this normal im going to take the other cover off later this wk when i get the time is it worth changing the shaft and springs any way
