What a great weekend.
Had a nice ride from Oxford on Sat - pitching the tent around 2pm
Briefly rode just the down road to Gloucester to see my children before returning to start the evenings drinking
Was good to meet some old and new faces - exchange a lot of banter - some of it at my expense
especially about my blowing exhaust and "wind-sock" for a tent
Tried a number of the beer festival beers
had some good food, chicken curry & chips - quality - followed by some more beer.
The band was good
but a shame they took up most of the pub
A quality breakfast this morning and another good ride back to Oxford.
Really looking forward to next years events

Congrats to GB & PJ !!!!!
Cracking time was had by CB and myself. We only came up for a couple of hours, but GB did a deal with the delectable Sam and we had a bed for the night and a tidy brekkie smornin. The beers at the festival really were top hole and the band were Ace !!! Seems GB has booked them for the South West rally next year
I believe there were some attractive serving wenches ... but as a happily married man, I obviously wouldn't notice
CB wasn't feeling so good this morning; apparently this was a bug and had nothing to do with her huge intake of beer the previous night
For the record; a Zed 650 exhaust will not fit a Zephyr 750 unless you cut it off after the collector bit and TIG it back at a different angle
Also Gungum exhaust bandage will fix a hole in the headers the size of a 10pence coin
don't look great though
Great to meet up with zeddists old and new
