Not too sure? think maybe a Z1A paint scheme as its green already so maybe some Z1A graphics if available ,and would like wire wheels if i can find some, dont want to change it too much.

Bike not running too well at the moment was hardly used so think the carbs are clogged up, not too bad on choke, but wont idle.

I advise you to clean the tank right out and dry it as these Zephyr tanks are notorious for rusting through, when i got mine there was crud and water in the tank and carbs soon had them cleaned and balanced, then i changed it to the Z1 jaffa paint scheme, i also have a chrome front mudguard to put on but i am sticking with the mag wheels, wire ones are the proverbial rocking horse poo, good luck with it.

Yes I've seen images of both your bikes before that and seeing some zephyrs at the z1 rally in Germany this year inspired me.
Garry are your stripes painted or are they stickers?
Kev my Tank looks clean inside but I will take your advice on cleaning out

Looking good fella....

I fitted higher bars to my Zeph, IIRC they were 32" wide with a 5" rise, any more and you'll need to fit new cables/looms etc, however you'll still need to replace the master cylinder to splitter brake hose as it'll be too short.

4x4 pipes will fit (I'm told) with a small bracket making for the mounting bolts...

Hard to believe it's a Zeph...

Well that'll look well!!

Tell me, would you mind measuring the outside to outside measurement of the front discs when mounted on the wheel please?

The rootbear one wasn't mine (sadly) just something I found on the Zephyr forum...

You can see the higher bars I fitted on the pic below (they cost around £25 IIRC) I did actually buy a Z1 set but they're much wider than the standard Zeph ones so would have required new cables and the control looms extending.

I did look at a set of 4x4 pipes to complete the look but £1250 was a bit too much TBH, the other alternative I looked at was a custom made set in a Z1 stylie but even for these I was getting quotes of £600+.....

Image

Also, if it helps I had Image works make me up some side panel badges in a Z1 style (they're actually copies of the Z2 ones) which look better than the 'Zephyr' ones IMHO..
