Here are a few pics from Sunday's action at Santa Pod. Some pics aren't great, I'm a bit out of practice and despite asking them to slow up a bit, they didn't.
I have the times/mph for most bikes if you can specify any that you are interested in that i don't include already. Times are not necessarily the best results, just the ones of the runs i saw. Pics will be over a few posts...

Thanks for putting these up - they are excellent and takes me back to the 70s before the Pod was commercialised.

Keep 'em coming :) :) :)

Is that "the" John Hobbs on Olympus in the first two pictures?

Redbeard,I wish I'd have known who you were,Coz most of my track pics are right where yours were taken. Was that your restored Zed in the bike parking area - if so it's a real credit to you.My zed was parked up by the weekend camping area-it's now filthy.A great wekend though.Bill, yes that was the man himself on the newly restored Olympus, and he was racing Hobbit as well.Spot on.
The bigger the motor, the more expensive the bang !!!

Thanks Gary. Always a challenge to take pics at Santa Pod, I wish I had a Press Pass so i didn't have to stand so far away up on the bank. It usually means only one lane is clearly in shot.

Pigford the Fiat 126 ran 10.83/125.83.

Great pics, thanks for posting them. I was there Sat/Sun, and it was worth it to see the fire burnouts Sat night, despite the event not really starting until 4.00pm ish due to the fecking rain. Sunday made up for it though.
If you look closely at a couple of your pics you`ll see some dodgy fat bloke with sunglasses on lurking in the background (clue:behind the Fiat 126), don`t know who that n`er do well is, but he looks highly suspicious!) There are some good vids here too: http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/topic/ ... deos-62091
