After completing the rebuild I got my Z900 MOTed



Fitted a clock



Packed some spares



Fitted a new visor



And waited for the lads to come round - Tlc, BunnysZ, GotaZ1B, Chrisu and Paul Mcelenery - all the bikes went in the garage




Got to the ferry in plenty of time



Lashed down the bikes





Quick run through Netherlands without any dramas

Got into Amersfoort for the night





Next day we got split up and 4 of us finished in a truck stop








Mett up with some friendly locals who "towed" us in







Ended up in Edersee





Good stunt show





Will do some more in an hour when I have uploaded some pictures

Met up with a few members





And carried on until very late in the evening



Next day a walk to the Dam

















Then through a hill meadow



To the Dambuster Museum





Back for the ride out

Called in for coffee on a mini ride out

Back to the Rally - a Matt Schwartz Z1000. I really liked it

Came across Wasten on the bridge. This really is an excellent bike





Then finish the night with a bit of music

Then for the return - setting out on Sunday





It became very wet





Then the Yorkshire boys turned up



Turned out that somebody else got wet hands as well







Back into Amersfoort

Prefer our transport to theirs...





A few beers and watch Murray lose



Then dinner and a few beers...



Off for the ferry on Monday





Arrived at the Hook of Holland





On board and lash down



Eight hours later and the english coast - The block is Sizewell B



Felixstowe port



Waiting to land at Harwich

Restored to be ridden - well and truely the case after this weekend



Optimistic next destination - cheers Bunny



Back in one piece



In time for a beer and to txt everyone a safe journey back

Glad you got to see a fair bit of decent weather by the look of the pics.

Fantastic that your newly rebuilt bike took all that in it's stride... what does that engine pull like now it's run in??
