Royal; I used Dream Machine (as they were very local to me) - they took an age to get the job done, but they did a very good job matching in a pair of new side panels on my A4. I am well pleaed with end product - well I was until my RH side panel decided to jump off at about 60 MPH and do some tarmac surfing

I'm not worried about matching as I have a new tank and new side panels to paint all in one straight metallic.
Same thing happened to me, at speed?. So i got a paten side panel (Ebay £29.95) and had my painter mate re spray it (giving him the busted/smashed/chipped) side panel, and he matched it to a tee.
Then thought it might do it again. So i lifted the seat, and once the side panel, is in place you can see from the top, about 3 to 4 mm sticking past the rubber poking through, so i fitted the panel, and marked just past the rubber, and drilled a small hole through the end, and once fitted, i put a small wood pin in, and it wont come off, utilll i want to take the pin out.
job done!!!.

I've tried for ages now to find a decent tank but they always
turn up with issues.
Shame to strip this one down but...
That would be a real shame to get the tank striped...i got a B1/B2 tank that i would swop and cash your way.
Plus there is the chaps who did both my Z1000 and Z650 paint.

Not sure how anyone can justify £1K for 1 colour motorcycle job on new metal.
Way overpriced I think...
