What year, 1978 had an 18 inch front. 3.25 inch front, 4.00x18 inch rear.

Later models 3.25x19 inch front.

100 wide front and 120 wide rear is a common metric size.

BT45 are what I have always used. Good tyres. However have just put Metzeler Lasertecs on my z1000 - which I am very impressed with.

I believe Continental are about to release a new range of RADIAL tyres for Zed fitment - in MCN :wink:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

I would also recommend Metzelers,which I have used for about 20 years. although For the first decade of ownership I used lots of tyres of which the worst was Dunlop K181.

The Metzelers made such a positive difference that I have not been tempted to use anything else since.
