steve Im uploading to Photobucket as we speak

the weekend was made bearable by the quality of the company as the show was questionably to long with not a lot to see however I did get a welcome surprise at the end :D

Thanks to Hobbo for entertaining me all weekend and to Jim for feeding me and despite the rain wind and lack of show content (you had seen it all in a little under an hour ) we had a good giggle, good to meet all as usual will post a slide show when its uploaded

here yous go

Doesn't look like I missed much then (apart from Jim's fry-up). Did you win a prize then Keith?

I don't know what the visitor numbers were but there has been little or no talk on the forums about this event..I went early on in the year but was not very impressed by the VFM with a £10 entrance fee.I had a look around in about 40 minutes...

as keith said if it was not good company and a 3 hour snooze on the saturday it would have been a very quiet show, but it did give a good chance to meet other members of the club and have a good chat about germany trip

The bad weather made for a pretty poor turnout but at least it gave me the opportunity to put some faces to names on the forums and have a few laughs as well.
Got to see a "behind the scenes" look at how the club stand is organised and run as it was my first time with a bike on the stand.
Great company and looking forward to meeting a few more club members at the next get together.
Great pics by the way. :up .... 4.30am headless chicken set off for me Saturday morning = camera left at home

Forgot to mention how gutted I felt for GB being turned away for having the pooch along with him and having to drive all the way back home. An absolute disgrace :angry

I would have tried putting some lippy on the furry fella sitting him in the passenger seat and claim you come from newcastle

As already mentioned it was a VERY quite show however the great company got me through it thanks Hobbo Keith Chris Ted and Jim. Karen and Steve popped in Friday and Sunday to help and thanks also to Hutch and Gail for helping to pack up. Nice to meet some new faces Dave and his wife Jackie (I think) sorry if I have that wrong. Tim or Tonto on the site. Bongo and Marlin. A couple of new members were signed up thanks to Jayne and her usual charm offensive. If ever there was a good cop bad cop duo its Jerry and Jayne.

The hinge and bracket show was in full swing, anyone who has been in the company of Hobbo and Ted will know I mean.

Looking forward to Stafford

ps lets give this a miss one next year Jerry :D

Thankyou to everyone who was involved with the club stand, I agree with Dave that GB's entry refusal was a harsh call. It was a quiet show, but we still signed up new members, and sold some goodies, so all was not lost. Despite Padders enthusiasm ( or lack of it!) I was committed to carrying on at Donington, but following the awards, I'm not so sure. Dave should definitely have picked up one, and as for the club stand awards, I was left speechless! I suppose that's what happens when the judge is registered blind. The disappointment was eased by the fact that there weren't any cheques being given out with the trophies. Sorry I didn't say goodbye to Hobbo, nothing personal Phil, but ASDA close at 4 on a Sunday and I was under orders ( good cop bad cop!!)
