Wheels are CMA's and if you look close they should have ( C M A ) cast on them somewhere , Usually in the rear brake drum and behind one of the front disc's.

The wheels are definatly CMA ,the reason that there is " Made in Japan " cast into the reat brake hub is that it is an original Kawasaki 900 brake hub fitted into the CMA wheel casting.
When the wheels were made the basic wheel was an alloy casting and the original spoked rear hub was then turned down in a lathe and pressed / shrunk into the newly bored out CMA wheel casting. this process was only carried out for drum braked wheels , the disc braked wheels were cast up in one go.
Seem to remember that the wheels went out of production because the CMA company was a " one man band" and the bloke running the company popped his clogs in work and that was the close of bussiness so to speak.
Fairly sure that " CMA " were the initials of the bloke running the bussiness.
Somewhere in amoungst all the junk here I have got an old magazine article about the company , I will see if I can dig it out and post it on here.
It's not broke , just in bit's for a while !

That was a seriously interesting reply, Phil.

I look froward to hearing more. I'm amazed it was cheaper to machine an existing hub, than just machine out a bit o metal for the brake drum

Try CMA wheels? If you look carefully,[ under layers of paint ],you should find I.D. mark.

I'm sure they are CMA's. I had a pair on my Zed in the 70's/ The rear wheel usually had the standard drum brake heat shrunk into the wheel housing.
Later models offered a disc option.
I don't think I have any literature on them but will take a look.
I remember visiting their factory, I think in Suffolk.
