Z1B, Euro Spec Long Mudguard Rear Light Bracket.
I have just swaped over my short guard for a long one on my UK Z1B but now the rear light is rubbing on the plastic duck tail, I have made a spacer that fits between the frame and guard to make some clearance but its not an ideal fix, can anyone tell me if the rear light bracket is different to the euro one, all the mounting holes are the same and it is a Z1B guard without the holes for the small reflector. Thanks for any advice.

yep thats right there is a different bracket for the Euro long guards.
The correct brackets are somtimes hard to find which meant that some owners resorted to drilling 3 holes in the guard to lower the US type bracket down a little to avoid contact with the tail piece
!
The Z1B did not have the reflector as it was in the Oval tail light. Z900 A4 onwards has the reflector
