Z1A sump capacity

#1 PostAuthor: nealblath » Mon May 14, 2012 9:18 pm

It says in the Haynes book that the capacity is 4 litres of engine oil. I've put 4 litres of Motul 5100 but it is way over the sight glass at the bottom of the clutch side cover.............is this just because the engine hasn't run yet and oil filter will be empty or is this figure incorrect?

Thanks

Neal

3.6 litres (approx from memory as I can't be arsed to get up and look at me bike in the garage) --- stamped on the casing near the filler hole
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
