rich i was using these carbs but the jetting was wrong and there was no leaks i swaped every thing the float, washer, float valve ,what o rings do you mean i do not understand when you say fuel rail. Also the fuel will come out of side as well there hole on the side thats ment to be there i have fitted a new high flow pingel fuel tap i was using a standard tap before
Your fuel comes from the tap to the T piece in the centre of the carbs, then flows through the inner carbs delivering fuel to them and then onwards to the two outer carbs by aluminium link pieces. The tubes linking 1&2 and 2&3 plus the centre t piece all have 0-rings on them which are prone to dry out and shrink if left.
If you have swapped everything and the leaking still persists then I would not be expecting the valve to cause it.
If a carb does flood on smoothbores, unless the gasket leaks, it is usually not noticed until the plug cuts out or it starts pouring out of the venturi as the fuel flows straight into the engine.
