It's funny we spoke about them on FB, years ago people were running bikes like that because they were skint but it's a style/ fashion now.

I think its a reaction to all the mega bucks bikes around now with 5k paint jobs huge 300 plus section tyres etc. The idea you can create you own individual bike for a modest outlay is appealing to many in these hard times.
