the lock usually has a three digit number on it which is the key code. You should be able to get a key using it e.g.

or your local Kwak shop

if you can remove the ignition switch the key number is stamped on the flat side of the front of the switch in small numbers key number will start with a z followed by 4 numbers example Z5674.

this company has all the major key codes just give them your key no if you can find it

I have taken the ignition switch of the bike and have taken the switch out off the ignition housing. Are the numbers on the actual tumbler? The 3 roll pins have been drilled out but it is still reluctant to come out.

the numbers are on the aluminium casing part of the switch but are really small you would be advised to use a magnifying glass to read them there are no numbers on the tumblers. have a look at the metal plate by the steering lock on the switch. if your key is the same as the seat lock remove the l/h side panel + remove the lock the key no is also stamped on the lock

Found the numbers, had to give the switch a good clean, the number is z 5@@@
does this sound right. There is another set of numbers below the steering lock. Today was such a bore all that time on set with Ellie and my crew. I am expecting the offers to come flooding in. Golden globe next! Many thanks for your help I owe you a beer,
Regards Rob
