Clutch Springs

Hi looked in Clymer manual to no avail , so can anyone tell me if there is a torque setting for the 5 bolts to tighten up the clutch springs or is it just tight ?? Thanks

90 in lbs or about 10 Newton metres for clutch spring bolts

90Lbs.in. sounds a bit too tight to me, I'd say 69Lbs.in. would be more like it. The Kawasaki Maunal doesn't give a specific torque figure for these six bolts so they would come under the "general" torque figures, which for a standard M6 thread are between 54 - 78Lbs.in.

Don't doubt it Z.O.A. & my information is from the Genuine Kawasaki workshop manual for the Z1/A/B/Z900.
