I have done about 50 miles in it so far and i am really pleased with it.
It is amazingly quiet and refined really and whilst not the fastest thing in the world it can more than keep up with the flow of traffic on dual carraigeways and motorways.
Even after all the progress in modern cars the pin sharp steering and rifle bolt like gearchange on this old Escort makes it a joy to drive. :D

My first MK2 RS2000 was a signal orange R reg too.

NTS 488R was the reg. Coincidently one of my Z1A's is 488M ??
