Was not a silly question just a little humour about the length of time Ralph normally takes to get to the Ace :D

Kawasaki have finally launched their Z40 anniversary promotion, and I'm pleased to say that the Z1 Owners Club have helped a lot along the way.

See http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/News/Details/34092D3B55B

You'll see from the press release that we might expect lots of interest at the Ace Cafe. Kawasaki and the Z1OC will be running a cordoned off zed area where we will be selling regalia and talking to anyone about Z1 ownership and, of course, how wonderful a Club we are in. We will also be helping to organise a photo competition on the day where Kawasaki's photographer will take the pictures and they will judge the best air-cooled and water-cooled zeds, from the past to the present day.

Martin of Kawasaki UK (a fellow zed owner) will be on hand to answer any queries you have and I'm told we can expect several important visitors from the continent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to promote our club as THE CLUB to go to regarding advice and ownership and, with factory support, stick it to all the other zed related forums and sites out there. So try to be there and make a show of it! We've already got a healthy number of volunteers, but don't let that stop you lending a hand - you'll be well supplied with lunch and beverages. I'll pm those who have actually volunteered during the week, but look forward to seeing you all on the 22nd.

We go up the A420 to Chippenham (ish) and then follow the A4 to Reading and then M4 to the North Circular. It's a nice ride until Reading

I shall be there early to help out Ted, I shall also be waving my camera around during the day, but then I guess you all knew that anyway.
