Anyone any idea where I might get Z1000J fork bushes? Tried Z power etc to no avail. Thanks.

which bush the one on the fork inner tube or the one inside the lower leg. the bush fitted to the fork tube is only available if you buy the complete fork tube

Did you phone them or look at the listings?
Not everything they sell is on the site!
I got my last set from the local kawasaki dealer about two years ago. Still available then but that is only the top set.
The work around for the lowers is to buy bottom bushes from a unitrack if i remember and cut them slightly because the bottom set are not listed for the J if memory serves me.
Z power would know this because it was them who recommended it.

Think thats right. :?:

not sure I like the look or feel of either, but the ones inside the lower leg (upper bushes) seem worse than the ones on the fork inner tube (lower bushes). One of them just dropped into place and has visible play.

They are a bas%^&d to get either in or out. Destroy to get out and drive them in with a plain sleeve round the fitted leg to replace.
I did toy with the idea of using two sets of top ones per leg because they are so short. Next time maybe.

Found a scrap of paper in the bike folder yesterday that says;

'Bushes GPZ900R 44013-1219 Fork leg complete'.

Bit ambiguous but it could be that it was the 900R and not the Unitrak bushes that was the dodge. The number may be bushes or complete leg not sure about that part of it though.
