Finally done

#1 PostAuthor: coldsummer » Sat Apr 07, 2012 3:09 pm

Found the time today to finish the last jobs on the rex. Made the mistake of adding up the costs of what started out as a cosmetic tidying up job :?? New chain and sprockets, replacement set of wheels, new discs, bearings, pads and tyres, plus the cost of powder coating. Fair to say that Mrs CS was horrified when I confessed the total cost was just over 200 quid

Anyway, it's done now and looking good, roll on summer :D

I'd say that you got reasonable value out of your 200 quid

Yes it is Jim, thanks. I share ownership with the bank and every now and then they threaten to take it from me. The bastards.

Thanks chaps, I'm really pleased with how it's turned out.

Keith, you're damned right  Mrs CS is right here now watching The Voice. She knows what I'm like, I'll prove it...

Me - Sweetheart?

Mrs CS - Yes?

Me - Do I ever lie to you about my bikes?

Mrs CS - Sometimes.

Me - But do you still love me?

Mrs CS - Yes, I still love you.
