Hi Guy
Looking fab there buddy.
Perhaps tip the rear winkers up a bit??
Noticed you have taken main loom AND bar switch looms both on the left side of tank - think they originally went on opposite sides - just be careful it doesn't foul or chafe the wires if you leave it all on the one side.
Your way will give you a lot of wires around the steering lock (if you are planning to use it)
There's a B1 service manual on me website should show original loom routing if you need to look.
Fingers crossed for the wiring fix from Mark for you.
Cheers from Mark

Yep i noticed the indicators as soon i got it off the lift Mark

As for the main loom and the switch wiring i did wonder which way it should go and i'm sure in my manual it shows all the wiring around the left hand side and the throttle cables on the right...no problems about the steering lock...i haven't got one

Hi Guy
There are a few shots in the manual showing just throttle cables routed to the right side - but that's cos the switch loom has been removed at that point.
If you download the 650B1 manual on my website and go to page 117 and 118 where they deal with attaching the bar switch loom you got a clear photo on each page showing it like this -
So what I am saying is I'm sure main loom should go left like you got it and switch looms should both go right near the throttle cables (along with clutch switch if you have it fitted)
That will give you an equal bulk of wiring/ cables on both sides of the headstock - which you need cos there ain't much room. Can you see what I am getting at?

No worries Guy
Just tryin to be helpful. (650 lovers unite and all that)
She's gonna run fine either way I'm sure - just keep an eye on those wires for any signs of chafing where the tank rubs when you turn the bars.
Looks like we might be seeing the rest of your painted panels on soon if the wiring gets fixed. Can't wait.
Picture of your two machines together will make an interesting comparison.... I can feel a Zedrider Gallery coming on

Hi Good lookin bike, any reason why you have decided to sling the Dyna coils beneath the brackets? reckon you may find you will see em when the tank is on! i found it best to mount em on top of the brackets with leads pointing forward, they also have a tendency to go to earth on the LT side via the post, make sure you isulate the post and put a gob of silicon over the connections,i know this from experience (not in any manuals) Cheers Paul J

The reason i mounted the coils beneath the brackets is because thats were they go as standard and thats were i first mouted them 20 odd years ago plus there isn't any room for them with all the wiring...i think you can just see the coils on the pic that pertonpc (Mark) posted.
As for being able to see them...you can just a bit...but you have to get on your hands and knees
