Finally managed to push her outside for some pictures. Will be taking the tank off tonight and lining it just to be on the safe side. The front calipers were left as they are as they work and I am hoping to replace them with some more up to date calipers in the next few weeks. Not a nut and bolt restoration but I am please with the way she has come out. Once mot'd its a quick trip over to martins (prowlerz1) to get everything set up just right. Shims are done just need to make sure the timing is spot on. I will repaint the exhaust when/if I find some Simonez satin black high temp paint. At the moment you can only buy it in this matt black and the Simonez is the only paint I trust on exhausts.

Looks really nice Ian. What are you planning to use for the tank liner? Thinking of doing my no.7 tank as a precaution but have been put off by the ethanol issue.

Using a product Hutch recommended and got for me called Kreem. He has used it and says it is fine.

That looks terrific !

Looking at those pics, I can vividly recall the smell of my brand new one as the engine got hot for the first time :)

Sadly..... first ride out... 50 miles in with SWMBO on the back I figured I could ride through this little ford. It was only shallow and much less risky than doing a U turn in this little country lane. What could go wrong? Ooops :rake

Straight back to the dealers (Enfield Kawasaki) dripping wet and put in an order for a new indicator
