Front Brake Master Cylinder.

#1 PostAuthor: njwmct » Sat Mar 03, 2012 9:18 am

I'm looking to uprade the front master cylinder on my Z1000 MKII with one from a modern bike - ideally one with a remote reservoir & a mirror mount.
I purchased one from Z-power but can't get a firm lever (to be honest it does'nt look that good a quality) - substituted one from my GSXR1000 & got a good firm lever but it does'nt have a mirror mount.
Wondered if anyone on here has come up with a master cylinder from another bike for a twin disc set-up that will cover all the requirements?

On my 1170R project I use a ZX7R master cylinder, that has a remote resevoir but no mirror mount.

I used one of these;
