Is there a way of checking to see if you have a bent valve with out taking the head off

I recently bent a couple of valves as the cam chain was loose !
but i only thought one was bent as compression was only noticably down on 1 cylinder. When the head was off for repair i noticed a second was bent slightlt so that was changed as well. Probably as well having a look if you are in any doubt.
