You can write to them in their language by using a translate programme such as Google translate.
I've written to people in German, Polish and Mandarin(Chinese) If they reply in their language just use Google Translate to translate into English.

Simples.

Theres two Chinese languages/dialects/whatever.
I could only remember that one was called Mandarin.

Yes.There is also an orange called Mandarin.

Good idea regarding the pipes.

I think though you'll find the manufacturers would be tied into legally binding contracts to only supply their "importers" or agents, otherwise it would be an absolute free for all and everyone would be cutting each others throat for the business and in the end noone would be supplying the parts anymore as they would all go out of business.
i.e supplier A charges £10, supplier B then charges £9 knocking out supplier A ,supplier C charges £8 knocking out supplier B and so on and so on and none buys anything because they're waiting for it to get cheaper and cheaper and then no one is making a living so the manufacturer doesn't make any more.
I think thats why there is a Manufacturers recommended retail price however high and extortionate it may be.
In essence the manufacturer will always have the upper hand.
Cause they make em.

Harry. What on earth would you be asking a Chinese seller?

And was the reply somethiong like "you may well have heard that our products are of poor quality but if it doesn`t fit, or work properly, we send another"

For a Chinese meal of course. It was lovely and no need for a replacement either as it fitted in my tummy perfectly.

What else did you think I was gonna e-mail someone in Mandarin for?

Hello skibs, how long ago did you get those Doremi pipes from france and what did they charge for delivery?
The german site Z-Fever replied to my e-mail and the pipes they are selling are Doremi aswell, were
you happy with the quality? They look good on the photos but I contacted Jeff Saunders and he recons he
has had some quality issues with pipes supplied by Doremi in the past mainly due to poor packaging when
they are shipped to customers. Regards Dave

hi dave, got these end of nov, took about 2 weeks to arrive.post was 55 euros but that was with a load of other parts.
quality looks good, mine still wrapped at mo,but checked em all well on delivery.seams, joints, curves all nicely finished.
packaging not good, allthough pipes are oiled, wrapped in cling film they had a fair wrap of what looks like plumbing insulation(which prob saved mine)polystyrene blocks packing the pipes were broken.pipes all fine.
defo worth asking them to add more packing even if it means more postage
