KICK STARTER LEVER

Hi
Can anyone tell me what the differents is between a z900 & kz1000 a1 splinns on the kick starter shaft, (if any) ,i have purchased 2 reprodution levers for my kz1000 (listed for a z900 ) but they will not fit, even after opening the jaws on the lever

I've got both Z1000-A1 & Z900-A4 and they are the same, I fitted a NEW one from Zed_Power to a M8's bike recently with no problem at all. :)
Where are you buying these from :?:

Like yours they came from z power,After returning the 1st one (phil said it was a tight fit) they sent the second one but still the boss wont fit onto the shaft (bad batch ?) or maybe the KZ differs from Z
Just returning no 2

Bad batch!.
All zeds are the same size splines.

ask z power to try the next one on one of there bikes before they send it to you

The 2nd lever was supposed to have been tried on one of there bikes before being despatched i'l ask them 2morrow if they will send another one

I think I would count the number of splines on your kick-starter shaft. By chance you may have one of a different make? a non Kawasaki?
