Z1B Bits
Hi
My 16 year rebuild of KGG673N is nearly complete, but I need a few bits to finish it off. These are; (1) The rear engine mounts (with fwd side panel lugs) - why mine does not have these lugs, I don't know. (2) The seat lock mechanism - Lever, Housing, Lock Assembly, Catch (the whole thing).
I know these are available as after market sets from Japan, but I believe they are £75.00 + each per set (£150.00), and after recent expenditure on the Zed, this would go down like a lead balloon with the wife. So if anyone has these bits lying around, I can put them to good use.
Also, the carbs I have fitted are from a mate (Original Z1 items used to prove the bike works), but understandably, he wants them back soon.
The ones that came with the bike appear to be GS1000 carbs, and no matter how much ultrasound cleaning, new bits and setting up, I cannot get them to balance properly. Does anyone have a set of Z1B carbs for sale? (Just don't let the wife see this !!!)

Far away across the field,
The tolling of the iron bell,
Calls the faithful to their knees
To hear the softly spoken magic spells.

Thanks Paul
Have sent you a P.M regarding the carbs.
Here is the bike as it stands now. Just trying to get hold of some male terminals for the alternator (blue) plug, and we should be MOT'd / taxed and on the road (fingers well and truly crossed).
I know you will have spotted loads of non standard Z1B bits on her, but I just want her on the road, and most people who see her wouldn't know the difference anyway !

Z1B
Well done mate thats the colour of Z1B I used to have, beautiful, and wanted back on the road, got an old Zed recently, not a 1B but suppose it will have to do.

Best run in recent years, Faro 2,500 miles, roads to die for. Applecross (NW 500) also awesome roads, current bikes, Z1, GPZ1100, ZRX1100, HD Fat bob.
