Z1B engine rebuild

#1 PostAuthor: Slug » Thu Feb 16, 2012 11:43 am

Hi everyone, congrats on the club win at Donington.
Can anyone help please, my trusty Z1B engine rebuild has come to a halt.
The barrels are bored to 1075 with 72mm pistons, the barrels will need to be bored to 1105 and the pistons are in a bad way.
Has anyone got any 72 or 73mm piston kits?
I would consider all options, either buying standard barrels and pistons, smaller sleeves and pistons, anything really.
Also does anyone one know of engineering companies that could change the sleeves and carry out rebores?
Any info would be a great help.
Many thanks.

If you are at 72mm already i take it you must have 1000 barrels on.

I have a set of used Wiseco 73mm (1105cc) 10.25-1 comp pistons that i was saving.
They need XA style rings available from Debbens according to the web site.
