Right this the next gripping instalment of my Z650 re rebuild :D

A week or so ago i was given a ally tube that i wanted to get a oil catch tank made from (see first pic)

After working out were i wanted it to go...it was another phone call to my new bestist mate Hywel at Spot On Control Cables and arranged a time for him to come around to my house to see if it was possible to have it were i wanted it, which was were the old centre stand should go.

Hywel duly came round and yep not a problem...and shot off to his workshop which just 5 mins down the road :D

Two hours later i get a phone call saying "All done...come round and get it" which i did.

For two hours work i you must agree he's done a brilliant job...and it fitted perfectly first time.

Anyway see what you think...it just needs a dam good polish...thats were you come in Mikey :bla

If you guessed (B) £30 quid you'll be right.

Which i think is very good value.

Hi Guy

That's a neat piece of engineering for that money.

Does it catch the oil from the crank breather tube? if so there isn't a lot of it from my experience.

Are you 100% it can't catch that new beefy swing arm when the bike lifts up at the back end mister? looks close from some of the picture angles.

Any news on the loom front?

From Mark

Hi Mark...yep it catchs some of the oil vapour crank breather tube...its just me being a tart (as my friends say) i did it cos i thought it would look good.

As for the closeness...i know it looks tight...but should be fine.

That catch-tank is very clever! Whoever made it did a really good job! :)
