#1 PostAuthor: stuntmonkee » Sat Jan 21, 2012 2:56 pm

Having found out the tank I'd like is quite rare, does anyone have one for sale - as below...

Cheers for the heads up, but I'm not interested in substitutes - I'll wait for the real deal

A GPZ tank is the same ?? The only difference is the connections on the bottom as it has a return from the fuel injection ??

The last tank that I saw come up for sale from an ELR was on the USA Ebay.

Are they really that close - the one in the link looks shorter and a different shape to me??? My eyes must be worse than I thought

Is a Z1000R the same? When I bought my Z1000R (which is still in bits waiting for me to start the rebuild) the guy asked if I wanted the spare tank that he had - I obviously said yes. However how do I tell if it is a proper ELR one? If it is I may have one I can sell you.

Yep, looks th same, i think it's the original tank as it is in the ELR colour scheme. Definstely needs painting though but as far as i remember its sound. I will pop down my unit tomorrow and take a picture.
