I chose the colors guy, (pics dont it do it justice looks completely different in the flesh its a real apple candy red) but let jak have a free hand and he came up trumps, knew he would as he and his mate tim done my Z750 twin many many years ago and he had a free hand with that.

Got me barrels back from Griffs yesterday done a good job of repairng
a broken fin at the top right hand corner, and powder coating it satin black.
But progress on this project is soooo sllooowww got no time for it at the moment

Cracking repair job Mikey! Are you doin the crankcases etc in black as well. Z1 Style? Didnt know you could get powder coating done in satin black, that started me thinking for my Z1A resto. :idea Top yokes etc got to be more hard wearing than paint :up . Keep chippin at it Mikey you get there in the end.

Yes Dave going to do all the motor in satin black and got something
completely different planned for the outer casings
and it aint polishing, chrome plating or anodising em just have to wait and see

Trouble is way its going its going to put me Z to shame which i done about 5 years ago, project for next winter?
