Gettin' cold out there (im a soft arse tho as anythin' below 20 deg an its thermals for me) give me summer any day.

Still, stock up on the porridge an "get in there"

Related toon if yer want it -

Well its been a while. several months since the last 'update' mostly due to ..... just opening the book of excuses here ..... yeh. usual story .... im a lazy fekker - always in the number one slot that one, other than that i aint been around that much, oh an me computer took a life of its own, turning itself off at will  maybe the gas had run out ... or did it just need another 50p in the slot at the back (anyone else have a TV like that back in the day?)

Anyhow back in the modern world again an' having popped in on the Zed gatherin' at Squires for a few hours recently came back with some inspiration to 'do a bit'
Good to put faces to names by the way :up

Soooo with plenty of 'unfinished jobs' on the list or initial ideas that need changing i had a look thro' me scrap box and armed with trusty hacksaw, faithfull drill and a draw of files cobbed bracket for the steering damper out of 3"x2" billet.
Numerous cardboard templates, a lot of cutting and filing, 20 brews, 40 tabs, 10 hours kip, a tickle with some fan grinders an' a dab with the odd spot facer and i had this -

Not wot i'd initially thought it would look like, but hey turned out 'alf right.
Just as well coz i dont want to make another!

Fork clamp is from Streefighter bling, damper is a 'hand me down' Sprint item and the frame clamp is from MPL Germany.

Next decision was to change the footpegs, even tho' i liked the black rearsets but ...... always a but aint there .....the gearchange was already using a large spacer and the rose joint linkage needed to be reversed (GB pointed this out to me in an earlier post) when i did so the angle increased on the rod and ... well long story short ive changed 'em.

Having had some Spondon pegs donated that were last gracing a YZF endurance bike circa 93-95 thought i'd use them if i cut some 10mm plate.

Que the saw, file, plenty of brews an tabs scenario an i had these -
