Jim, the tail piece does sit nicely on the ltd frame and there is a fairly wide bridge on the back of the frame to bolt it to but im not botherung now but ut all back as it was, but to be honest i just dont have any time for it at the moment.

Some great work going on here Mikey and with a perspective that you dont normally see. It's fascinating to watch the processes involved in cleaning and stripping let alone the finished plating side of things. I especially like it because its not me getting dirty as usual.
Keep up the good work and keep the process stuff in there too if you can it adds another dimension.

Ok Al when i polish the mudguards for plating i will photo the whole polishing process should be end of next week if i get the chance work extremely busy at the moment.

Very nice Mikey, have you de badged it? getting the paintwork back is definately one of the highlights of a resto,though i do remember getting quite excited over the Chrome work :wink: Keep up the good work,loving the olive work too.

The tank was like that when i got it and jak took it back to the bare steel
and there were no screw holes for the badges.
I had them stuck on with double sided vehicle badge tape before.
